2009-2014 F150 Smittybilt M1 Fender Flares Review & Install

Simple Exterior Detail. The Smittybilt M1 fender flares are for all 2009-2014 F-150 trucks, excluding the Raptor. The fender flares are designed to replace the factory flares with a more rugged looking and wider fender flare that is durable and provides additional tire coverage, if you want to run a wider tire on your truck. In addition, the Smittybilt fender flares will give you more tire clearance if you plan on running larger tires or taking your truck off road, the fender flares will give you about 3-3.5-inches of additional tire clearance. In addition, the Smittybilt fender flares offer more protection from the trail and road, when compared to the factory fender flares.

Simple Construction. The fender flares are constructed from a UV stable, acrylic-capped OEM quality ABS material for great durability against the sun and weather. The exposed rivets are made of stainless steel for good corrosion prevention. In addition, the flares come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Simple Bolt-On Installation. The installation is straightforward and easy to complete without any cutting or modification to your F150. The fender flares simply bolt onto the truck with the provided hardware and gasket to protect the factory painted finish. An important note, Platinum model F150 trucks will require that the door molding on the bed and front fenders be removed or trimmed in order to accommodate the new fender flares. The flares themselves can be installed within 2-hours with basic hand tools.
