Go back and ask them how they agtee with chasing a debt from a company that harrased a carer so badly that they left thier 86 year old relative in a leg in plaster home alone surrounded by packets of food, cup drinks and fruit shoots just to get 1 weeks wages to pay a company to stop the hartasment only to refuse the money and sold the debt to lowells. The company then failed every SAR by omitting the proof of any communication with reference to the event.

go through step change if your in dept i owed natwest 7 grand and lowell deals with my bill there not allowed to add interest, by law and have to freeze just what you owe, m happy that all i pay back is 1 pound a month dont offer them anymore than a pound they caint refuse it going to take me 7000 months to pay it looking forward to the last payment :)

They don't even pay £200 for the debt it's more like 5 to 12% of the debt that they pay. If you get the letter from these file it under B!!!

Most debtors have had letters from this company and there affilites. It's all very lawfully loopholed together Marti

5:15 The other point about when a debt collecting agency buys a debt is that they always buy at a huge discount. Say your debt is for £500. The agency will buy that debt, along with loads of others in a batch, for something like £200. The original owner of the debt will be happy they got something and don't need to go through the hassle and cost. The agency will then try and get the full debt of £500 paid. But a canny debtor will negotiate and offer £300.

I've had a few letters from them overy the years and the letters just get destroyed. Never ever contact them! You have no written contract with them and thus owe them nothing. Just destroy the letters and DO NOT contact them as they can only do anything if you contact them.

I bought a car from a garage and the car knacked up after 3 days.
I paid £2500 for the car but unfortunately it knacked up and the garage would not repair it or give my money back.
I took a loan out for the car and I owe the money for it out of my little wage of £368 a week.
I had no choice but to take them to court and pay around £250 for the fees etc so I lent the money off my father.
The court only awarded me the £2500.
I wasn’t happy but at least I got the car money back or so I thought.
The garage would not pay so the bailiffs went round, I’m still waiting to see what happens.
