Can Clone Troopers Reproduce? - Star Wars Explained #Shorts

Could clone troopers reproduce and have children? The answer in both canon and Legends seems to be yes. In Legends the clone commando Darman Skirata had a child with a Jedi Knight and a clone named Nate got someone pregnant in the book The Cestus Deception. The characters of the canon book Force Collector also meet someone who claims to be the son of a clone trooper.

Jango Fett could potentially be the genetic father of so many people.

As an adult, I realize two realities:
1. A functioning reproductive system has no use for the Clone Troopers as intended and might not be worth bothering with.
2. If the Kaminoans altered the Clones to lack a reproductive system, that could harm their ability to produce testosterone, thus hampering their effectiveness as soldiers.

Cut's situation was always weird to me because they clarified the kids, while not his, are still Twi'lek - Human hybrids, which seems like such a weird specification.

Cuts kids were adopted? My life, it lies.

Man imagine seeing Cut's son when he reaches adulthood; young Temuera Morisson with Lekku

Just like Jurassic Park, "Life finds a way."

If I remember correctly in Legacy of the Force when Jaina is training under Boba Fett on Mandalore one of the books characters (Goran Bevinn?) mentions that a certain part of Mandalore has a lot of Fett clone descendants.

Family reunions would be so complicated

The typically Rocket Raccoon joke in this would be: 'Your father would be doing it with anyone and you'd still don't know if he's your true father'

Thanks for clearing up the Cut kids thing. I was always confused about why they look that way, but Hera and Caleb’s son is mixed.

If I remember correctly, sterilizing the clones caused them to be erratic and messed with morale and loyalty which is why the Kaminoans kept their reproductive functions intact.

In Legends Boba had a daughter and granddaughter

There was also a legends comic where Boba meets a son of clone that Jango killed named Conor

You know you've gone too far as a Star Wars fan when you watch videos like this. That's why I spent quite some time recently searching through what all the functions of Mouse droids are.

When it comes to the farmers adopted children (yes, I already forgot his name😅). If I remember right, it said online that they were actually half human. So it’s kind of funny that they aren’t the clones children, but still 50% his race

At the moment cannon seems to be a firm maybe rather than definite. With one character only claiming to be the child of a clone, could possibly be adopted like Cit's children.

So much respect for using Darman's first and last name. Mad respect. The Sarge didn't raise those boys and soldiers. He raised them as sons.

For the Star Wars version of age restriction laws, how do they apply to clones? I'm assuming that it's based on their physical age/appearance (it at least works that way for drinking based on one of the TCW Season 6 episodes).

I would totally love having a badass clone trooper as a father
