I think the problem is that we think success is in monetary form and being able to acquire things, which is not true.

We first need to define what success is, and for me it is simply achieving a goal. This can be finishing school, saving up to buy something, getting out of debt, raising your kids to be responsible well balanced accomplished citizens in society, having a loving & fulfilling relationship, Success means different things for everyone depending on what you want to achieve. I can't say you're the ultimate success when you're doing well in business or sport, but your personal life relationships, family, children etc. Are a mess Balance is giving priority to different areas of your life at different times in your life depending on what demands or requires it at that time. That's my take.

I think there should be balance! Everything should be done in moderation, I watched the full video, seriously family is important! (Well, maybe that’s personal) but sometimes we forget to stop and smell the roses, appreciate the things we have because all we want is to take. Your kids may not remember the things you bought for them, they will remember the person who has always been available. Won’t it be cool witnessing your kid’s first smile, first steps, the first time they crawl, I mean Al their firsts? One day you will return and find everyone gone, that’s when you will learn to have balance in life. We all want to live comfortably, but our lives shouldn’t be centered on money only! Make time for family, friends etc It’s all zen. Anyway, that’s just my thinking…
