this channel could be about the sky and clouds and we'd still absolutely watch it

After a long day of driving the truck, I just had something to eat and took a shower at the parking spot. Then I got into the bunk in the cab, planning to watch a bit of YouTube. Apparently, we're going to sleep 52:18 minutes later today. Perfect end to the day.

The last scene with the aurora borealis is truly amazing, and from all the comments others definitely agree. You really should take that bit and turn it into a YouTube short. You'd be reaching a whole new audience.

Just yesterday I was wondering how Matthias' garage is coming along and here is the answer. Brilliant video, so many interesting details. Will watch it right away again. The clouds and the northern lights are awesome.

Another perfect upload from YouTube’s most unassuming creator. I caught this one early and had streaming issues- I think so many people are watching- you’re breaking the internet!😂

I think a contrasting color around the door (or as you call "gate") will look great. A good visual separation to know where not to drive!

Im amazed to see you have a helper for once, and you didn't build something to lift your windows in place with your skidsteer or excavator. Also, I like the fact you were able to drag one of your buddies out in the bitter cold to work on your shop! I love seeing my buddies as cold and miserable as I am, and listening to them cry like little girls!!! 😂

The darker trim around the gate i think will look great, with the lighter grey walls! 👍

We understand you very well, your English is way better than my Danish or Swedish will ever be! Greetings from Canada, I can appreciate the work you are doing in the cold but beautiful north.

Great to see the build progressing nicely in the arctic winter cold. Looking forward to the installation of the heat pump and floor heating system.

As someone else suggested, a plywood backing for the first 3 m is the way to go. It allows you to hang many items wherever you wish, and it will protect the sheet metal from many dents and almost all cuts/break-throughs. In addition, having a plywood backing would protect your vapour barrier should someone accidentally apply much heat to the sheet metal.
BTW, the new/slang term for shops where they cut and bend sheet metal is 'fab shop' (fabrication shop). Depending on what else the shop does it could also be called a machine shop or simply a sheet metal shop.

THE ANSWER to another one of your questions: "In architecture or structural engineering, a girt, also known as a sheeting rail, is a horizontal structural member in a framed wall. Girts provide lateral support to the wall panel, primarily to resist wind loads." Wikipedia STUDS are vertical framing members that run between the top and bottom plates (I think those are self-explanatory) Because you are using girts, you haven't used the one other common part of a wooden stud wall; it's called "blocking". Blocking consists of short pieces of lumber (Often 2 x 4s) fastened horizontally between two adjacent studs or joists. Their purpose is to keep the studs/joists from bending and or racking.

So glad to see another video. A great ending with a little aviation content and a sick time lapse!
