Welcome back Sheri 👋 that foot pain is awful and I had it before vionics came along. In the 90s I tried podiatric orthotics that helped me for a short time so I gave into the ossitron treatment, which has a digital name now. Shots did not help me. The only shoes I wear daily are Vionic platform sandals. Sorry but I agree with your doctor, NO FLIP FLOPS, the worst for your feet including going barefoot. My feet needed supportive shoes yet with a cushioning feel to absorb the shock waves while walking. It will take a while to heal so be patient . No pounding your feet on the pavement so to speak! Hope this helps❣️

Hey beautiful! Sorry to hear you are dealing with plantar fasciitis. I have used arnica gel as a topical anti-inflammatory on my feet (I like the Boiron product on Amazon). I am also a big user of red light and I have used it on my knees and feet with great results. I also enjoy a good foot massage and paraffin wax baths for my feet. (Some folks prefer to ice their feet for the constriction and numbing sensation but I enjoy the heat stimulation to improve circulation and loosen up the tightness.) A good pair of shoes as you are aware and then hydration. Dehydration can cause stiffness. Hope you feel better soon!
