Why did he get someone to play the pipes? He used to play bagpipes at the end of a concert with his guitar... I wonder if he can do the same with another kind of pipe sound.

Impeccable timing! I teach elementary music, and this month is, of course, Irish Heritage Month, so I've been introducing my students to some of my favorite Irish pieces. This video gives me a great excuse to also introduce them to one of my long-time heroes (my dad played your vinyl recordings--Master and the Musician was a favorite--on our analog home stereo system when I was but a wee lad).

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be at your back ("most all the way")...
