I've never heard this cover of the famous XTC classic. I really like it. Still as profound and as the original. I never cared for the 90's popish middle part of the original song. Sarah MacLachlan has done a good of cleaning this part up. There is enough love...well just enough of everything on this planet for all of us, but as humans we do a pretty good job of screwing this up, as this song makes quite clear. I'm quite sure this is what the life force (God) has in mind...and as you know, humans for all of history have done a good job of using religion to manipulate the masses. "We don't need a big reduction in the price of beer..."
