Rise of the Tomb Raider - Easy way to defeat the bear

Finally a sensible take down. Don't listen to Lara about drawing out the bear. Just get it dead in the cave.

There is an even easier way to kill the bear. Get the Incendiary Bombs skill. Pick the red can at the soldiers camp, the one close to the way up to the bear cave. Throw the can over before climbing up, and pick it up again. Do not start making the bomb until you are in the cave, ready to throw it at the bear. The bomb will kill the near instantly.

Ive been shooting for hours! Driving me crazy! No more materials...just a couple of arrows each time I leave and return...bear wont go down. I hate this game now

what button is used for poison arrows ?

On survivor do this once and run away since the bear will go back into the cave. Then repeat. Also craft your arrows before going into the cave.

Thank you for posting this. I did the exact same thing. Also, once you think he is going to start moving again, hit him with another poison arrow.

i got so worked up about this fight; i put on the extra ammo jacket, got like 6 poison arrows, stacked up on normal arrows. Then i saw this tutorial and i only ended using 5-6 arrows total 💀

Can somebody help me. I'm out of arrows and poison arrows. No materials and feathers around the camp place to make more. I don't know what to do.

I gotta say, this was an EPIC help. Tomb Raider and few other games I can think of can really be the ULTIMATE pain the in roidhole! Tomb Raider is a great game -- but once in a while you run across certain things that are so frustrating you feel like slappin' the developers in the head. That said, this was a huge tip -- without it I can't see how I would have even beaten the miserable bear, and I probably would have just quit and went on to another game -- so thanks man! (-=
