The only problem is the budget. Here in Italy costs 4200€, if it had come out last year I would have taken it immediately. This year is more difficult but I will make it.

Hi Matt, great review ! I've noticed a focus issue with my A7siii when filming some wide angle landscape shots, front lit. The AF-C (Large + Zone) seems sometimes to be "hunting", doing micro adjustments. This happens with both my Sony 24mm 1.4 and my Tampon 28-75mm, especially when shooting wide open. Wondering if some other A7siii users have also encountered this problem ?!

Hi Matt. I have enjoyed a number of your Videos, so thank you I have learned a great deal. I have had a Sony A7S iii and on the Photography side, I have come up to speed quickly and pleased with the results, but honestly on the Video side I am struggling mainly with Exposure using ND Filters. Now I don't expect you to provide me with what is considered basics, but are you aware of any training on this specific area for Sony A7S iii users? I ask this as I have yet to find anyone out in the field showing how to get the perfect exposure. I want to point out, I am new to filmmaking a complete novice if you will, and I just keep coming back to my home with over or under exposed footage. I try to keep the MM to zero using ND Filters, and to keep things simple I am using S-Cinetone to get used to that before I explore SLOG 3 and Grading (great videos on that by the way). So in short, if you have any goto places with someone who is showing clearly out in the field how to nail Exposure for videos using this Camera and S-Cinetone, I would greatly appreciate it. I purchased the Camera due to the birth of our child, and I have a feeling I won't get any decent footage until she is 18 at this rate !! thanks as ever.

Just watched the entire video, wow! My favorite review so far. I wanted to ask you, with the A7III when dual recording if I have only 1 SD card in, it won't let me record. While in the GH5S there wasn't such an issue. Is this the case with the A7SIII as well? Will it let you record on only one SD card when in backup recording mode is enabled? Thanks.
