The UK will drop its objection to arrest warrants being issued by the ICC for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant.

The announcement, made by a spokesperson for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, overturns the previous government's objection to the ICC prosecutor's application for arrest warrants for Israeli leaders.

Sources within the Labour Party told Middle East Eye about the plans on Thursday, along with intentions to restrict arms sales to Israel over its war on Gaza.

Come on, guys. This is just another announcement of what they WILL do as opposed to what they HAVEN'T done only to NOT do it after all. Same old trick. Don't fall for it.

What an utter disgrace that the U.K. drops the objection. Netenyahu is doing what is necessary to defend Isreal from Hamas for now and in the future despite the interfering international morons making it more difficult.

Ban “Friends of Israel”. Where does their loyalty lie, with Britian or Israel. British money for British people.

There's a reason why Starmer is called Mr Hindsight and Mr Flip-Flop.

The duplicitous British - it’s lucky that they have not sought retrospective action against Churchill, Wellington. Starmer appeasing his left wing and other enemies of Britain.

This is very good news. The ICC must be allowed to investigate

We found out today it never actually had an objection lodged. The tories had a proposal to lodge one but never did so Labour don't actually have to do anything at all to 'stop this'.
