As an eBay seller I can promise you he would be lucky to break even on those cars. It would also be a massive amount of work to list them all separately looking to get more, but then they WILL not sell 90% of the time

i love cheap cds because my aunt and i have a game where we buy the funniest looking ones and play them in the car without showing each other. its so funny and absolutely the best use for 25 cent cds and i would absolutely recommend doing this. pls someone tell gary that i have discovered this (unrelated but i cannot fathom what kind of music he listens to)

listen, my entire family is from the northern midwest so I am a garage sale enthusiast and, dare i say, a bit of a connoisseur. this man does not understand the true purpose and culture of garage sales.
its about getting rid of stuff you don't use but other people might be able to for cheap, & about not throwing away perfectly good things you don't have space for anymore but are still worth /something/
it's not antiquing; it's not about making money (though it can be about saving money.) like the haggling part--the guy doesn't care about getting the full price for them, he wants those buckets of hot wheels out of his garage where they've been sitting for like 5 years. dude isn't stupid, if he wanted he could look up every single thing on ebay and sell them individually. the point is, he doesn't wanna deal with it posting a billion things on ebay and then selling & shipping them. saving time and getting old shit out of your house for a few bucks is the entire point.

5:35 Theres a way on ebay to filter the items so you can see the items that were actually sold and for what price they were sold. For that specific car, the highest asking price on a listing that actually sold (which was still in box also) I could find of it was 4 dollars. A best offer was accepted. Literally the highest selling of that one was LESS than 4 bucks lmfao

He’s obviously lying or he’d post his ACTUAL profits and not imaginary profits. And the time he takes driving to garage sales, looking through other people’s junk, dealing with eBay, and shipping it out is part of the cost.

I’m sure the reason he does this is to prove how easy it is for anyone to get rich if you hustle and he’s so braindead he can’t think of anything that would even earn minimum wage.
