WoW Legion - Dabbling in the Demonic (Mage Tower Quest)

This quest is part of the mage tower artifact challenge for Feral Druids, Unholy Death Knights, Fire Mages, Outlaw Rogues & Elemental Shamans and Fury Warriors.

In this quest the player must read the books to determine which runes will stabilize the portal Ritssyn Flamescowl is attempting to keep open.

The runes you want to select are Dregla, Talar, and Taam

Completing this quest is required to open up the quest Following the Scent.

If it doesn't work you should log out and back to try it again. This fixed it after I first failed eight times, after relogging I completed it successfully the first time.

Quest is impossible to do without knowing EXACTLY which runes to activate before you even take the quest. The books tell you nothing at all.
