Digital microdot

With all this intrigue about spies and what not I was exploring the complex techniques required to make an old-style secret agent 'microdot'. I looked into creating a digital one that could be sent and realized how much the technology has done to allow us to store a significant message inside the period at the end of this sentence. --- You need software to look close though ;-)

Would this only work on a vector file or could you save it say as a pdf and blow it up and see it? Thanks I know this is an old video

Im not following what you did. What is a 6 point period? Pls explain ur process, it sounds like you wrote in small font, took a screen shot of that, reduced it down, took a screen shot on and on. Is that what you're doing?

What kind of printer do I need to print this though? Is it even possible?

How could you do this with a smartphone?

The thing is, does it show up on a printer? On a computer monitor, the pixels are not dense enough to have it be a gray spot, much less a subliminal. There are more effective uses for this type of thing, like secret agents.
