Global Hand Hygiene Day 2016

The Western Trust is supporting the World Health Organisation (WHO) in its global campaign to improve and sustain excellent levels of hand hygiene. On Global Hand Hygiene Day (5 May 2016), staff throughout Altnagelvin and South West Acute Hospital’s will participate in a ‘hand hygiene relay’ to highlight the importance of good hand hygiene in reducing the level of healthcare associated infection.
