One of the great things about your channel Shane is how positive you are. It’s an inspiring vibe.

The wheel turns... I originally discovered you when setting up my Fender Mustang AMP! Who remembers Mustang Monday? 🙂

Yeah man, use what works for you. I switched to a fractal FM9 for my videos (nearly 150 this year!), and it’s game changer. Main reason is it doesn’t blast the voice mic like an amp used to. And I can get every tone I want and am happy with it. Keep groovin’

Don't mind the band-aid on my neck I am just clumsy! I just returned from overseas and need to get back to filming this week! I wanted to put this quick little video together talking about why whatever it is you like using is the right tool for the job!

100% agree-- when you find something you like, that works for you in your specific situation-- score!! I love tube amps, but in my case BOSS amps and Helix gear work best for me. Also, super light gauge strings :D Rock on brother!!

Great vid, since were talking digital. I think it would make a great difference if you had a digital sound measuring device on the wall. A visual idea of how loud you are playing would certainly help, me visualize the sound better.

"Use what works for you!" Down to the ground guy. That's what I like about you!

Step 2 would be getting a Fender Tonemaster FR-10 or FR-12 for live performance. I always liked the modeler/profilers for recorded tones, but they felt bad in band situations, until I got an FR-10. Just having the active eq in a guitarist friendly Treble Mid Bass amp configuration has made a world of difference, and it sounds great with every modeler or analog DI amp replacement I've paired it with.

I would love something like a Kemper but for now I'll have to put up with my humble little rig: A parts-caster Strat
into a Fender Frontman 25R amp, oh and a Digitech RP360 multi fx used in stomp mode to give me a few effects
at my feet. You've probably guessed right, I'm definitely no professional lol. I just like picking up a guitar and playing
a few licks indoors and maybe the occasional jam session with mates.
Does it make me happy? Yes definitely, I wouldn't be without it. Love watching your channel Shane, It's the best 🎸👍

My favourite modelling amplifier is my 2003 Line 6 Duoverb 2x12 Combo... It really nails the models and has a two amp at once option... It really rocks with a very authentic valve emulation.

Along with my tube amps, I still have my 2011 Fender Mustang IV Digital amp.. and it is still my go to amp. It sounds great and it’s incredibly versatile.

I’m shocked you haven’t tried out Tonex yet! It’s like 98% copy of any amp or pedal! Except fuzz!

just got a tonex one for similar reasons but so much cheaper than the competition. it's actually insane how much this thing can do and sounds great. your mesa kemper profiles were great back in the day!

I'm looking forward to hearing it. I'm still considering a Fender tonemaster, but just wish they'd made the attenuation foot switchable. Would've been more useful to have like a gain channel, but then it wouldn't have looked as traditional for them.

I bought a used Fender Princeton chorus solid state amplifier and it sounds great! Less than half of the tube version. It takes pedals really good and the clean channel is amazing.

Glad you're back into Kemper, and Profiling again. 👍
Screen wise, your cellphone screen using the new Kemper Rig Manager APP works great with the Player model, plus it's touch screen editing/saving, etc on a high definition colour screen.

Last month I also bought a kemper. I heard the Meulendijk profiles en heard the german kemper channel. Great demo. Now I am addicted after 40 years of tubeamps.

Good one Shane. Yeah brother - what works, that's what counts. I'm a valve amp sort of person but discovered the Quilter Super-block USA. I was pretty blown away with the sound and LOVE the portability. I still play my valve amps to - it doesn't have to be one or the other.

I love my CODE 25 by Marshall.
I don't care for the 50 or 100, but love the 25.
Once dialed it, I think they nailed the Marshall tones.
