I went to Santo Domingo in August and stayed at the Radisson it was nice...also visited Zona Colonial, only negative was language barrier but I'm working on my Spanish

When you go to DR never pay for asking prices for anything. They will charge you 10 times the what the item is worth just like most developing countries in the world. For example for something that’s worth $100 Dominican pesos they will ask you $800-$1000 so you offer then $80-$100 and if they don’t want to just walk way don’t argue with them just tell them take it or leave it. Trust me I’m Dominican I know all their tricks. Any other questions about DR I’m here to answer and the best part is I don’t charge 😃. Be safe everyone. Cuídense mucho y muchas suerte. 👍
