Im a GS, and Im considering CTR. Im tired of being task saturated and the politics. Also, the upward mobility is extremely difficult.

I've seen people convert from GS to contractor and vice versa. You will be quadruple tasked (or could be) as a GS and could work longer days. More money as contractor. Contractors only work their 8 hrs and cannot be tasked outside their normal duties.

I am active duty, pursing cyber security degree(wgu), and pcsing (Air Force) to NSA building . Do you think working for NSA in cyber security is worth it ? Like completing my next 4 years and duecing out of active duty with 8 years of IT exp, TS, and degree at the age of 30?
