I like your gray ballet flats, jeans and Channel jacket!

I love how that belt buckle on the white belt matches the woven purse and shoes. LOVE LOVE!

I LOVE ballet flats. Although I’m short, I think they look just fine as long as my slacks are also proportioned for petites.

I love the loafers. So many great looks. I do like Sam Edleman shoes. If I wear a heel it has to be chunky. The bags are great, love all of the camera style bags with different guitar straps.

Thank you for sharing shoes for narrow feet. I love many shoe trends but they tend to be too wide on my feet!

Having broken my wrist last year, followed by a frozen shoulder, I'm now a huge fan of the cross body and belt bag styles. Hands-free is so liberating when needing to catch buses, shop, library etc. I now have several in a range of colours and love them all.

How did you know I was on-line shoe shopping this morning? I think the cognac Italian sandals are winning.

I love your videos. Lots of info on what's in style, and great tips on styling!

I'm short...only 4'9" tall, and I sometimes wear flats. I don't think they make me look frumpy. I have several pairs in different colors and styles with pointy toes and almond toes. I always look for ones with a shorter vamp that doesn't completely cover the top of my foot.

I have several crossbodies in different styles and a couple shoulder bags, but want to find a structured leather handbag that's not too big. I love jewelry and have quite a collection.

Yes, can’t wait for styling flats and low heels

I just found some really cute and comfy sandals from the brand Sorrel (spelling)? All looked so comfortable and some had a platform that I need for several pairs of pants. Great quality is important for my feet

I like belts, too, and I add one to any trousers, jeans, skirts, etc. that have belt loops. I think it looks more finished and I also tuck in all my tops, exposing the waistband. I have a selection of belts in my basic wardrobe colors, in addition to neutrals, like navy, burgundy and khaki, because I like to wear them to bring in the waist on looser dresses. But, I don’t have much waist definition, so I like to match the color to the dress, to avoid emphasizing that (contrasting-color belts make it all too apparent that my waist doesn’t indent much these days). I also like wearing belts over my blazers, which are all too big for me now, even though bought in the last few months, As for shoes, I always said that they set the tone of the outfit, meaning the level of formality. Any outfit can look casual with sneakers, or smart with good leather shoes. I love the comfort of sneakers, but haven’t yet been able to bring myself to wear them with the skirts and dresses I mostly wear. I might just be too old to adjust to this look for myself, at nearly 63, though it can look good on younger, taller women. I never even wore heels with jeans, these were both No-Nos earlier in my life and I think jeans with stilettos looks too “try-hard”, jeans are casual pants.

Jamie, thank you for this informative vid.
Although I don't wear ballet flats, I admire how they look. I prefer loafers & other more cushioned flats.
We are more casual in our workplace, but I still like being put together & not thrown together. Great ideas to add belts & I love the vests you wore.❤

As you know I'm a ballet flat fan. Thankfully there a timeless shoe and a throwback to Icon Audrey Hepburn. I'm short at 5'4" and can't wear heels so this is a great alternative. The thing is I might have to try on 20 pairs to find one that fits right, but it's worth it. If people don't like them, try a pair with a rubber sole. It's a game changer. The ones that you show here look beautiful and trendy

Hi, thank you for the information. I wear the same thing year round. I will not wear white sneakers because I can put them on, and the time I get in my car the white sneakers are dirty. At 66 I no longer wear heels. I have sprained my left ankle more times than I can remember. I always wear my dark sketches. I have a white pair, but I have a problem tieing them. The sandles are cute.
I have a large nude shoulder leather bag which I use year round. Buy at Nordstrom's, your caregiver who manages your money, will not allow you to purchase another bag. Besides I am OCPD. This means going to Target I would buy two dozen bags. Never mine not having money. That is what Credit Cards are for. I like the fanny sack ( I was in my 20s and early 30s in the 80s). I purchased one last year to use when I went to Maui. I will use again this year. I liked the weave bag, very pretty. I always wear my paperclip silver necklace. Which I purchased from Amazon Prime. I also wear when I go out either my birthstone pendent Citrine( Imperial Topaz is way to expensive) or my Mom's birthstone Tanzanite. Just something I do. I like the idea with the belts, very 70s Retro.
I rarely leave my house. Because of doing something very six years ago, my caregiver will not allow me to drive. She, because of my behavior once, thinks I am too nervous to drive. She actually eyeballs where she parks my car in my driveway. She has even asked me where I went one time, because she thought my car moved an inch closer to my house. I felt like telling her "Apparently you forgot we live in California. "
The way I shop for clothes and other items is through Stitch Fix. I also shop with Fashion Now, and sometimes TEMU.
Everything you showed was very cute, but as a shut in I would rarely wear any of them
Thank you for your video. Have a great Saturday.

I'm waiting as we speak for a pair of Vivaia flats to arrive in the mail. I'm normally not swayed by influencer brand partnerships but these just look like they will fill a hole in my essentials. I chose a nude color with metallic stripes on the toe! Fingers crossed!

Great suggestions, Jamie! I looked on Amazon for a tan belt and ended up getting one I'm not that crazy about. I'm going to check out Target. Thanks! ❤️

I am 5' 1" and wear all kinds of shoes including ballet flats and no one would ever (dare) call me frumpy! I have just bought my first pair of Vivaia pointed toe flats (Melia in almond) and they are positively funky! Fuchsia pink next 🤣

Target also has a flat version of the braided sandal. I ordered a 2 inch heel on Amazon because 3 is too high for me. It will be here in a couple days.
