I was given this album as a gift when I started law school and I would play this all of the time while studying. I am not sure if it helped me but I really enjoyed it. And now, years later, when I have to really concentrate on some work - I go back to this - I play it at my desk when under pressure for work etc. I think there is some benefit to having such a positive association to some calming music as a tool to help me get tough work done years down the road.

I swear, at 8:58, this one makes me think that it should be in a commercial for eye drops or getting married because they found their partner at eharmony. Its such a relaxing, vibrant, uplifting, warm tune.  That or at the end of an indie film about a guy who found his long-lost brother after they lost each other while younger, and they're walking down his brother's farm with the sun going down and they're having an inaudible conversation.  Then, 11:44 makes me think of a guy drinking in a bar who just found out that his girlfriend was cheating on him and he's thinking of all the good times they had and how "perfect" she seemed to him as he remembers the ring in his pocket he was going to propose with.  Haha Just a peak in my mind

I have the CD of this one. I always play it in the car for my 3 year old daughter and she always stares out the window with this really cross face. "are you Ok abbey?".. "shut the fuck up dad!... thinking about some serious shit.".
