How many times do I need to say it?? WE NEED A 32" iMac. NOT Pro, just an iMac, upgraded. Am I the only one on the planet that has been waiting years for this??

The chances of Apple shocking or surprising us on the hardware front are ZERO, they watch what others do then launch their version a year or more likely two later with an excellent and refined implementation & very slick marketing! That said they do occasionally give us some pleasant surprises on the software front (although usually only in the US initially).

A 7K display? I think the next logical step is simply an 8K display. (I know Apple has been doing any resolution they want on their devices, but some monitor resolution standardization would be nice.)

I'm surprised they didn't put the M2 inside the iMac and Mini when they did the new Air and 13 Pro. 2 things I want on my M1 iMac is a bigger display and more RAM, but at what cost?

WHY is Apple going BACKWARDS??!! We don’t need ANY “MacBooks” of ANY size, especially 12”. That is OLD technology!! We need more things such as iPads with more options, power, and to truly be recognized like a laptop in EVERYTHING and EVERYONE around the world since they do everything a laptop does…or should be by now. (This INCLUDES things like using a iPad as a SERVER or STORAGE for data, firewalls, etc.) Go FORWARD APPLE!! Not BACKWARDS!! Don’t waste time with old stuff…

The Apple laptop lineup is getting so convoluted and confusing that I don't think it is in Apple's best interest to add more products to it. They need to consolidate it with new products and phase out the old models. Steve Jobs would never allow this during his tenure. He kept things very simple and easily manageable. That being said, you would think Apple would upgrade the iMac since it hasn't been touched since it's release in May of 2021. They need to step up the RAM to at least 16GB and add more storage to 512GB to be more palatable for today's users if you ask me. Also the Mac Mini needs the same type of upgrades as well. I currently use the M1 Mini with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and it still runs like an absolute champ; especially with all the development and analysis work I do. Hopefully they put better performing M2 in the mini to make it worth upgrading over the M1. With regard to Apple Glass or (AR), I don't think Apple "glass" will initially have that much of an impact initially as it will most likely be a niche product until there is more of a demand for it. That will take some time and more developers to jump in to make it into a mature, useful product for the everyday consumer.

The only thing I would like to see is the ability to change the hard drive in the laptops. Maybe the ability to add memory to the system, so the OS can use it like slow ram to swap faster than the nvme

I’m still rocking an upgraded 2011 MacBook Pro. For me, anything is an upgrade. But, for the fact that I can’t open it up and upgrade as I wish for a machine that I purchased is bananas
