A New York Post article claims that one of the Democrats on the FTC commission board may be siding with Microsoft regarding the ABK acquisition.

The board typically has Five members but only has four members at the moment, three of which are Democrats and One Republican.

This could mean that if a vote were to take place, it would be a 2-2 tie, which would be a disaster for FTC chairwoman Lina Khan as DC insiders claim it would throw Khan’s authority over the agency into question.

Former FTC Chairman William Kovacic said, “Lina would probably not put things in a position for that to take place, so instead of having that vote, she would make the motion to approve the settlement.”

AKA concessions for Call of Duty being on Playstation. So things are looking up for the deal to go through.
