Well done! Thanks for covering this fascinating time period! You can see that the eastern empire still had wealth! While the west was in economic chaos. The history of the Ostrogoths, Lombards, Huns and Visigoths are very interesting!

Belisarius was utterly brilliant from the start of this campaign straight till the end. He was particularly good with his hearts n minds strategy to win over the people the Vandals ruled.

They are not only Germanic but also Iranian. They included Iranian Alan tribes which crossed the Danube to escape the Hunnic invaders. They crossed the Danube and united with Germanic Vandal tribes. Also taking part in the invasion of North Africa. In France, cities like Alaincourt and Allainville carry their name, and Catalonia was originally called “Goth-Alania.”

In Hungary, there is even a region inhabited by descendants of the Alans. Known as Jaśzberény (in Hungarian, Alans were called “Yas”), it still celebrates some traditions, such as the ceremonial blowing of a 9th-century horn. Even the common English first name, “Alan, ” is said to originally come from those ancient warriors.

The theory that the Vandals traveled to North Africa via Spain and left behind a deserted country in their old homeland can only be refuted by looking at the work of Ammianus Marcellinus. Because the numerous vandals who stayed behind send a delegation to North Africa and ask the vandals there to give up their home farms, they urgently need the space for the numerous descendants. Into this overcrowded land are any "Slavs" supposed to have infiltrated? Completely untenable.

Amazing as usual! Interesting arrow animation, are you reading from a script? I noticed in some parts of the video you seem to either cut off before you finish your sentence or it doesn't make sense, but don't take it as a negative feedback, I love your videos!
