AutoCAD Tutorial: Copy or Insert Objects from Xrefs - 2 Minute Tuesday!

Todays Two Minute Tuesday video shows you a really quick trick that many people don't know. In it I show you an easy way to import or copy linework or any object from an external reference (xref) directly into your current drawing. This is a super helpful trick that can save you a ton of time in your drawing!

When we xref a mm dwg to m dwg if doesn't come to a same origin(0, 0).how to fix it should both drawings be in units like mm or meter?

after i refer one dwg, but i can not find correct place to set it ?
for instance, I am working with ware house Dwg, and I want to refer (Xref) whole Dwg of factory,
the point here I cant not find coordination to match with 2 Dwgs

Can you attach a xref file to multiple DWGs?

My issues is I have a project where I have to insert a company’s logo in the title block. Instead of opening all 50+ dwgs and pasting the logo, I was hoping to create an xref file and attach it to all the dwgs without opening all of them.

Would you by chance happen to know how to make 2d a top view that of AEC files? I would like to edit some 3D walls in 2d mode and scrap the 3D walls. Thx

How does it work with blocks? I've tried to insert blocks this way but it imports individual parts of the blocks, not the entire block.
