Only women, because shark attack movies are for a female audience. Oh, and one of them talks like Chuck Norris and fights the shark with a small knife!"

What would make five single young women go to a tropical island as a "getaway" not near any men (or women), booze, parties, or potential hookups/vacation flings? So the movie could happen. 🙄

Just finished the movie. It is so much worse than you think it could be. If you like chic flicks just add shark with terrible CGI and there you have it. The book and the film are made for women 100% and even then you need to check your IQ at the door. Hard pass for the majority.
