The Tudor Choir Perform Palestrina in Portland

From the July 26th Cappella Romana presentation of a festive summer concert celebrating Bach and his predecessors of the late-Renaissance and early-Baroque, featuring one of Seattle’s premier vocal ensembles, The Tudor Choir. The program included works by Palestrina, Praetorius, Schutz, and J.S. Bach.

Stunning. I could listen to this all day.

Superb ensemble. The Tudor Choir is my favorite, or one of my very favorite exponents of renaissance-era choral music. I don't hear any "ego" in The Tudor Choir's interpretations (I won't make any direct comparisons here). The Tudor Choir serves the music.
