I think a hundred people would be too much, what could be interesting would be to have 10 people trapped in a building, there are bombs in the buildings and if the last surviver is alive he gets in the vehicle and move to the next building until there is only one person left, instead of dropping with nothing your car drives in the city and you can spress space to decide to stop the car in front of desired building otherwhise it'll stop on it's own for you to just not carcamp, before the cars goe you have some time to choose your mask and the abilities, in the houses are random weapons and traps, the buildings would be procedurly generated, each playthrough would give you different building to explore, just like in the original game, getting in your car strips you of your loot, forcing you to be warry and agressive for each building, the last buildings hosting more traps and better weaponry with more chance off having stuff like healing drugs and kevlar vests.
