OB doctors have been leaving the profession for YEARS. I worked in the medical field. People are becoming just GYNs because their OB malpractice insurance is unbelievably expensive. My town of 40, 000 people used to have 6 OB doctors; we now have 2. I had two miscarriages (first trimester) before I had a successful pregnancy. I had a D&C both times but I'm not sure that is even protocol any longer. One thing we all need to realize is medical care in America has gone down the tubes. Cuba even ranks higher than the US.
