I have been supporting Celtic since the early 60s and I have seldom heard a Rangers fan give the good Celtic teams and and their players the credit they deserve . Any success that Celtic has is always based on other teams' failings rather than the ability of the hoops themselves according to them. I do agree with him on his main point, and that is the poor standard of the other teams which, contrary to his opinion, does not and should not detract from Celtic's achievements.

Interestingly enough less than 12 months ago the side we beat to the Title was being compared to the Lisbon Lions by the very same fans and vary same media because they made (and lost ) a European Title to the 11th best side in Germany .

The team formerly known as Rangers are struggling to compete with the current crop of other provincial clubs in the Scottish premiership.
James Tavernier has had to sit on his hands while Celtic captains have lifted 18 trophies in the last few years of his tenure as captain of the ibrox club.
The ibrox unfaithful are not far away from the next revolution when they will demand the head of Michael Beale and turn their backs on their current club, board, and team.
The fans of this current version of the club formerly known as Rangers are spitting feathers because their season is likely to be completely fruitless this season and Celtic FC go from strength to strength under the management of Ange Postecoglu and the Celtic board.
No matter what happens in the Scottish cup, the current ibrox club cannot compete on a long term basis with Celtic and are unlikely to do so in the foreseeable future.
They love to refer to themselves themselves as equals to Celtic FC at every turn but those days are long gone.

Being a celtic fan from early 60s i agree with the rangers fan on pod talking as level is poor in Spl . When we play in Europe v good sides we are found out especially at back where our defence do not come up against such good teams in Spl ..Mean we are up v Kilmarnocks of Spl and rangers are not as good them days either and its hard for Celtic to do well in Europe because of what i mentioned level in Spl is very poor in comparison to top leagues in Europe and why we are found wanting in Europe .

As for Celtic today we are good in Scotland but our team today Celtic is not as good as Celtic teams like Lisbon Lions i so recall and team that followed with Quality street kids were a better team and team in 80s with Charlie Nicholas and Tam Burns and co were a better team also team in Martin Oneills side had a far stronger defence and why they made it into Eufa cup final v Porto and ran them very close and dont forget Porto under Mourinho back then won Champsions league with very same side the following season.

Team we have today are good but in defenc ein particular with Starfelt in there and i feel Hart in goal we need replacements made much better or else same old out of Europe after first rounds are done and dusted .
