Wireless remote Car, using hands movements (Πτυχιακή εργασία Τμήματος Αυτοματισμού)

A short video during the project development.

Cmucam4 open-source embedded color sensor sending packets and Arduino Mega2560 processing the info using RGB color limits.By checking tracked pixel and areas we know the hand-movements.Sending the info with Xbee S1 Modules (one as trasmiter and one as reciever).Using custom full H-bridge with Power-Mosfets (IRF4905 and IRFZ44N) and optocouplers for galvanic isolation.Also using servo motor for full steering.

The H-bridge was designed on Simulink.

We control the speed,direction,steering of car with 2nd Arduino Mega2560.

We diplay some info to the 16x2 LCD screen, such as the duty cycle of PWM, the mode of DC motor (F for Forward and B for Backward).

The LED lights near Cmucam4 used to make easier the contrast of hand-skin and black background.

The idea came for an alternative way of controlling a vehicle.
