When I was a kid a winter storm had knocked down some power lines and it caused a blackout. My family and I sat around the fireplace and you can hear the wind howling outside. I was snuggled up in my blankets with my head on a huge pillow and my cat in my arms purring. I was safe and warm I didnt want the night to end. I slept well that night and this video brought those childhood memories back. Thanks for the great video.😴

this reminds me of a night time train ride i took from southern sweden to stockholm . It was just a few weeks before christmas and it seems every window in every farms house had flickering candles that gave the window a warm inviting glow. The snow blowing and drifting from the train tracks made it feel like i was trapped in a fairy tale. Even when we went through a town most of the windows were illuminated with real candles. The of course there were the Christmas decorations. This went on literally for hours. When i got to Stockholm 7 hours later it was still dark and i remember walking to my girlfriends apt to surprise her. Snow was swirling and the cold on my face felt so refreshing. More windows full of candles lighting my way, this time electric ones that were gradually being turned off as the people began their morning ritual. Until i die i will treasure the beauty of that train ride. i had lived in Norway for a few years and visited Denmark often but there was nothing like this. It was if there was more Christmas outside in Sweden than inside. It was truly beautiful. This video brings that memory rushing back and i thank you.

I visited Hallstatt in the 1980's and was struck by how beautiful and picturesque this little village was. Still remember it vividly. The people who live there are lucky.
