Vitamin A is also a fat soluble vitamin so meaning overdosing is possible so please people moderation.

I knew a mom who fed her baby way too many carrots when starting the baby food process. Sweet baby turned orange 😂 He was the cutest little Oompa Loompa though. 🧡

My mum and my sister ate one summer too many carrots (like a lot) evrry day. They did get orange and I couldn't stop laughing looking at them. My dad and I made fun of them as long, as they were orange.🤣

It is the first time I hear you or any influencer talk about the toxity of vitamin A on the liver. It seems to be the reason the European Commission is going to limit the concentration of retinol in skincare to 0, 3%. It would be great if you made a longer video on that matter, as you understand the science behind the revision of the opinion of October 2022 that was used for that. Thanks for this informative and fun video.

I feel like the info you’re sharing in this video is handy on a general level, especially for of course influencers doing extreme things, and options for severe acne grades/treatments. But I also feel like the way you’re contextualizing this video is dismissing the role of nutrition period for treating skin conditions, and ways to address the root causes of our skin imbalances. I love your content, and I get that treating skin issues holistically may not be the route your practice takes. But even if this isn’t your specialty, it takes 5 seconds to acknowledge how addressing diet and lifestyle changes with other health professionals can help address root causes that may contribute to these skin issues.

Do you offer dietician referrals to your patients who want to address their lifestyle and diet while treating their issues with topicals or clinically proven medications for skin disorders? This would be a great video to create a part 2 and share anyone in your network that offers this work, or just address the fact that nutrition may affect conditions such as cystic acne.

Roaccutane is the only thing that cleared everything for me and then dermatica topical retinol to keep it all up

(Ro)Accutane is a very strong medication.
Please be aware that one of the side effects on teens (maybe on all humans, but i dont know) is depression with unaliving oneself tendencies. Speak abt this with your doctor if especially your child needs to get on it, and monitor your kid's behaviour while on it.

Personally I regret taking accutane despite my terrible acne growing up, because I feel my body became reliant on it. I’m in my 20s now and I feel like accutane is the reason I have to now take birth control pills to regulate my acne.

My previous dermatologist gave me three cycles of accutane when i was a teenager. Basically took it at around 15, 17 and 19. Around a year each time. My acne still came back, usually worse than it ever was, it was never a permanent solution for me and now I ended up having to take something orally to fix my acne problems.

I’d like to see some literature on vitamin A toxicity due to overeating plant foods. As far as I understand, beta carotene itself isn’t toxic and needs to be converted to Vitamin A. The body will stop doing that when there’s enough Vitamin A in the system.

Don't be afraid of carrots guys. They actually have helped me a lot with my health and eating too many is like drinking too much water. Fat chance.

FUN FACT…The I.C.E. Sparkling Waters now have retinol on their ingredients but the company will not comment on why.

I drank a few breastfeeding before realizing it was listed

Accutane is incredibly damaging to the system though and should be used with caution.

Not the derm discouraging carrot eating… ladies, eat your carrots, they are amazing for you, your reproductive health and cycles etc. They have beta carotene plus mixed with vinegar or lemon (carrot salad) a delicious side salad
