Temporary hardship for everyone - except billionaires multi millionaires.
What is temporary? Two terms?!
Everyone else is totally screwed! 😮

Just the amount of people put out jobs by the federal government would be a massive blow to the economy.

Social security tax stops at $168, 600 annual earnings, which means there is no annual limit for lower earners. It's a poor person tax, not a rich person tax.

The richest man in the world telling us to live within our means and endure temporary hardships. Think about that.

We all get old. We are all senior citizens. Suicide should not be a retirement plan.

We have billionaires talking about austerity fiscal policy. That didn't work in Great Britain and several southern EU countries.

ALL people in this country should be worried about Billionaires and Millionaires, tell average people what they need to live.

Musk has received over 4.9 billion dollars in government subsidies. Will he return that amount if he is so worried about government waste and overspending?

Crenshaw is one of the clearest examples of a complete tool of the filthy rich.

If it weren’t for massive gerrymandering in Texas, we wouldn’t even know who Dan Crenshaw was.

We are WAY too close to billionaires carving up the county into feudal states.

Elon musk just because he had money. Don't mean he can help run this country

I doubt Elon Musk is concerned with improving how efficiently our government functions. He is only concerned about advancing his own agenda, just like Trump. Birds of a feather…

Two trillion is a lot of money to cut down and I wonder if the money is going towards the deficit or if it’s going to be divided between the GOP politicians in the House and Senate that they will say the money will be used for job creation and other programs for the poor. Which won’t happen and the cash will disappear.

“Temporary hardship “ for who? The working class and middle class? The billionaires, and their friends, will be just fine. Also, isn’t the whole reason people are voting for Trump is because they the want to make their life better. Doesn’t sound like that is a part of the plan.

There’s a reason you don’t run govt like a business. People pay taxes to have things businesses don’t provide well because of the need for profit margins, market competition, etc. Sorry Veterans, no prosthetic limbs for you, it’s not in the budget. Sorry, no FEMA relief this year, here’s some paper towels. There’s ALWAYS room for efficiencies - but as a former service-member & DoD employee who remembers budget wars of the past - “doing more with less” eventually becomes “doing less with less” & pissed off citizens wondering why phones don’t get answered & office hours cut. Because oligarchs & politicians don’t cut profits for buddies & donors at Lockheed Martin - they cut staff at the Social Security administration, Meals on Wheels & staffing at rural clinics.

And then there’s the constant conversion of government positions to contract positions - being underbid & poorly executed on a shoestring to ensure a corporate profit - then converted back to govt until someone decides to rinse & repeat. You get what you pay for & handing the budget to a guy who drove Twitter into the ground? I suggest everyone get used to doing without whatever doesn’t generate profit for the 1%. Start your prepper pantries. If you’re old or disabled, it’s time for you to go anyway.
