I work in a grocery department in a large retail store, easily the hardest job I worked in my life. They set you these deadlines that are practically impossible to meet, you have to work like a rabid animal to pull through on that deadline, and still you can’t always make it. You have high amounts of adrenaline pumping through you for an hour or hours trying to meet that deadline, literally working like a rabid animal, it’s just really not healthy. I nearly got a heart attack one time there because I was pushing myself too hard, I had to stop for a while or else I was gonna collapse because I had all that adrenaline pumping through me for too long, and ironically I still couldn’t meet the deadline on that task lol. The whole thing is a complete racket and bullshit imo, I’m doing what I can there now but I don’t think I can last that long. So if you wanna work in a grocery store, just know that some are ridiculously hard you’ve been warned.

Aldi's and Kroger's sell other items other than groceries. Aldi's sells quite a few products other than groceries. But Kroger and Albertsons are merging
