AQA HIgher Calculator GCSE Maths Questions 1 - 9 Revision Practice.

This video is around 20 - 30 minutes in length but, by stopping and starting, it should give you around an hour's worth of fairly focussed revision.

We're looking at paper 2, calculator questions 1 - 9 of the AQA New Specimen Papers published in June 2015. The topics covered are:

- geometric progression
- congruency
- gathering like terms
- equation of a straight line

- HCF and product of prime factors

Thank you so much for making this video. I may be wrong but at 5:53, shouldn't the answer be £36.75 because 29.40 / 0.8 = 36.75 not 36.95. There is a possibility that I am wrong though.

With the calculator paper, is there anything key that you recommend revising?

So basically I’m i. Year 10 and I asked my teacher if I could do the higher for GCSES and mocks and he said no cuz he thinks it’s too hard but like I need those higher grades what should I do

With question 5 is it ok if I divide 29.40 by 5 so I have the value of 1/5 and then times the fifth by 5

for question number 1, wouldn't '1234' be geometric progression because it's +1 every time?

question 6(b) was 1/8 not 1/12 because it was square and even, 4 of the numbers were neither so its 1/8
