Rokker Houston rider shirt review

Показать описание
Rokker's new flannel, riding shirts are two-layer, in that the outer is 100% flannel, whilst the lining is a stretch denim that incorporates UHMWPE fibres. In essence this is a similar construction to Rokker’s own single-layer jeans. And, as we all know, their jeans are massively strong. The lining on these shirts also incorporates Coolmax to accelerate the wicking of moisture away from the body. You also get vents under the arms to further enhance breathability.
The collar is button down. You get two breast pockets. And two more pockets on the inside. Behind the zip placket, which fastens by means of a series of poppers, you get a full-length zip. You also get zips and poppers at the ends of the sleeves.
In terms of protection, Rokker’s latest riding shirts are accredited as ‘AA’ under EN17092, which is pretty impressive. There are two new shirts in the range for 2023. There’s the Chicago and the Memphis, and they both cost £349. They come supplied with armour, and although this armour performs similarly to D30, it is actually made by SAS-Tec.
You can also add a back D3O protector to the shirt. The size is what is known as a T8 or large. Now normally in a shirt one would fit a Level 1 protector because a shirt is all about comfort, and for this the price would be £36.99. But if you wanted to go for a higher, Level 2 one the cost would be £52.99
The shirts come in sizes Small through to Extra Extra Extra Large. They are in stock now; and with the prospect of summer just over the horizon the timing might be opportune to grab yourself something cool for the coming months.
