I don't use Great Swords, but here's a tip for whoever the hell is playing. When you're trying to catch up to the monster, put your weapon up. You go a lot slower with your weapon out and that could cause the monster to move to a different spot. Put the weapon up, run over to it carefully, draw your weapon, and slash away. It's that simple.

its for Wii-U, i think the reason it doest look very good is that it was meant for the 3DS not the Wii-U, its basically the localized version for MH Tri G ( that only came out of japan for the 3ds).

Sometimes it takes forever especially if you are not used to the boss monster pattern, once you got the pattern down, its a piece of cake, and the guy is using the rathalos set which is the wrong set when you are going against the thunder element. He should have brought ice element...

Not to mention the greatsword wrongly, must always keep weapon sheated and use the unsheating attack, should also charge his weapon more often, thats how to play with greatsword

that person needs to learn the ways of a great sword user...punish with draw slash charge up>sheath GS>run and wait for next punish>GSDraw charge>Rinse repeat!

I don't think the player was even tryin, its obvious enough that this trailer is more to showcase the boss than to actually try killing it.

These grapphics are great for a Wii game. Just IMAGINE if they had have made it for PS3 like they were originally going to :'(
