Now, these do have a recessed mount design. So they include the black grommet there to kind of cover up as they are sticking back through. So you are going to need a 3/4 inch diameter hole for each light because the lights are 3/4 inches in diameter by 7/8 of an inch deep. Your grommet diameter here is 11/16 of an inch. Each light is gonna have a durable polycarbonate housing and a clear polycarbonate lens over one amber LED.

That housing and lens unit are sonically sealed, so it is gonna be waterproof for you. So this is gonna be great for your trailers that do need to be submerged, like a boat trailer and that sort of thing. If you're not familiar with the benefits of LEDs, they are gonna be a great replacement over your older incandescent-style bulbs because they last about 50 times longer, because there's no brittle filament inside, like with your incandescent bulb, so it's not as easy to break them. These actually come with a lifetime warranty on the LEDs because they are so durable, but not only are they durable, they're also gonna be a lot more efficient. So they're gonna provide that nice, bright light with less power draw than your incandescent lights.

So these are actually only gonna draw about 0.022 amps on your 12 volt DC systems. So get plenty of light there with very little power draw at all. If I disconnect it from our power source here, we can talk about her overall length is right at 28 inches from where it's gonna be mounted on your trailer back to our two-wire connector here. So we're gonna have our ground and our lead wire to get connected to power. So 28 inches of space to work there to get this mounted in place.
