I was looking for something with a "summer vibe" when I first came across this TV show. Well, I loved it. I could describe it in two words: pure and genuine. I was so done with bad boys stuff and toxic relationships. "Surviving Summer" explores the teenage world with a carefree attitude, focusing on characters' troubles without drama. I also appreciated the fact that we get to know every character throughout the season, so that we have the whole picture and not only Summer's point of view. It was exactly what I was looking for. I'm hoping for Season 2!

I don't know why people don't give this show a chance! Not every show has to be about drama, drugs, family drama or anything in the dark!! I personally LOVED IT. Also a lot of people said that It should be Poppy and Ari instead at the end. The reason he'd in go for another second kiss in that scence with Poppy, I think It's because he was overwhelmed, & besides that, later he showed no interest at all. That doesn't show chemistry, he was just weak at this moment. He regretted that. He chose with who he wants to be in the end. I don't get it why some say Summer & Ari didn't have chemistry!!! Well, I saw an edit of these two and I immediately RAN to search it up to watch it just for them. Because of them. So I guess that says a LOT. There was flirty glances between them, jokes & cute moments! That's enough for me to ship them. Also I don't understand why some people tend to compare shows, can we don't do that?? Everything has its uniqueness. Literally you can easily binge, not cringe at all, It was wholesome. I hope we get S2 soonnn😭💞.

pretty fun and wholesome show. it was nice watching a show where friends actually like and support each other instead of tearing each other down. also i'm in my 30s and i find it funny how the dad is only 40. can we get more screen time for daddy gibson. 😂
