this was actually so cool, just broke a year long running drought yesterday (because injury) and it's inspiring to see others not only go through the same thing but move past it

Eric’s humility more than shines through in this video. Loved everything about it. Excited to see the progression!

What a goatttt!!! As a 20 year filmmaker and athlete, I can definitely relate to what he’s been through. Keep pushing brotha!🤝🏼

Loved this! Been battling with the uncontrollable injuries and raising my two young children. Got sidelined at my peak running ability and admittedly it was crushing. But today of all days I am back to start of the summer, feeling all the vibes of turning myself back into the strongest version of myself. Thank you! Really needed this one!

Think this could be the start to a great series on this channel. Maybe interviewing other runners in Chicago and either running with them or filming them run. Main point is to get their running story out there. Could use this platform to bring some eyeballs to some locals, just a thought! Love the vid man 👊🏾

Great video! One of my favorite videos of the Floberg Runs channel and I have seen them all. We love you Cyrus and you are going to run a marathon!

The very best of luck to you on this journey Cyrus, I am a natural 200 pounder who is slowly trying to get to 180 (due to my late age starting running ), however I have managed to get close to a 90 in the half and 3:24 in the marathon and that is as a well built 55 year old. you look to be about 35 years younger then me so I really look forward to see how you do .. and you are spot on about the lactic resistance (though I have had some nasty cramps in an ultra )

My story was the exact same, I was gunning for a D1 scholarship but stress fractured my senior year of XC AND track and never saw what my full potential was. Here I am, nearly a decade out of HS learning to love running again but regretting that I burned most of my prime because I didn’t have the discipline to stick with it. Whatever you do, stick with it Cyrus!

I understand not wanting to overcommit to an event, time or distance goal when the body isn’t squared away so consistent training isn’t a sure thing. I hope you keep exploring and find what works for you Cyrus! Would love to follow along that journey as there are many of us out there facing similar challenges.
