A few years back I asked one of mounted guards if I could take a photo of him and his horse, He gave me a charming smile positioned the horse's head and I got a lovely photo. I said thank you and got another smile I am in my 70's and itg was lovely to get that smile from a young man!

I don't live in the U.K., but I do believe the public should not be allowed to get this close to the guards. They are not actors or photo props. They are warriors. They train hard at boot camp and graduate with battle skills. Respect them.

That remark was totally out of order in fact down right nasty. From time to time the kings guards have to tolerate rude individuals but always seem to deal with them with both authority and dignity. Great job! 💂

Normal day at the office, as a former Guard, I can tell you this is the norm. Shame really, some people don’t realize both foot guards and horse guards are operational troops and should be given respect.

The mouthy, rude tourist wasn’t so mouthy when he realised the Guard brought his juvenile behaviour to the attention of others…..walked away with its tail between its legs and not so mouthy was he?! Hahahaha

What a nasty piece of work. Didn't stay around when he saw the Police though did he? This level of disrespect makes me despair. Our guards and horses don't deserve any of this rubbish.

I’ve never seen such rude people! Leave the guards alone and when they say get back then do it! Show some respect people they are just doing their job! Makes me mad!
