My Dad 1985 // Pennywise AU

Some just doesn't understand that this is an AU and *THIS IS NEVER CANON* 🤦‍♀️

I only want to make a *FANMADE* story where "what if Pennywise isn't an alien but a human" (I have to emphasize *FANMADE* )

What if at one point in time Pennywise got curious about humanity and decided to shape shift into a human to fit in more and learn from people. Eventually, he met a woman that found his childlike curiosity endearing and enjoyed his company. This woman had bright orange hair and by coincidence she had a daughter who also had the same hue of hair as Pennywise when he took form as a human. It was the most perfect coincidence the could've happened to Pennywise also like an opportunity to experience something else then just being a shape shift fear eating parasite. For months Penny assumed the role as the Father and Husband and nobody in public bat an eye because they resembled so much like each other. Eventually, Penny took a Job as a Clown and everyday he would "Dress up" and entertain small or large crowds with his performance. Once again another role that was made for him, he often used his powers of illusion to do Magic Tricks and people would be amazed.

Pennywise felt adored and wanted it was a feeling he cherished deeply when he was still sane from hunger. Unfortunately he couldn't stay sane forever, that same hunger grows ever stronger. His wife and daughter were worried and thought maybe he was ill so they bed ridden him for days, they've tried feeding him soup and giving him medicines but he would only respond aggressively. It couldn't be helped, it was nice while it lasted but HE NEEDS TO FEED.
He revealed himself in front of his wife and daughter, the amount of shock and horror on their faces was in indescribable. At the last minute the wife told the daughter to run buying her time to escape. Without hesitation the daughter ran out the door, Pennywise tried to lunge at her preventing her escape but the wife threw herself in front and attacked her instead.

Pennywise had her once beloved wife against the wall, he wanted to get a good look at her pretty scared face before he devoured her. He felt her fear but he also felt something else, his wife loved at him in the eyes he wondered how disgusted she was to have spent the last of her days with a monster. However, that was not the case. To Pennywise surprise she placed her hand on his deformed face and with her last breath she said "I loved you so much" those words will forever haunt Pennywise for the rest of eternity. So after she passed and Pennywise ate her whole.

Meanwhile, outside the door and below the stairs still standed the daughter. She should've listened to her Mother and just escaped while she could but instead she got to hear Everything, from her Mother's screams to Pennywise consuming her. She was frozen in fear but she knew she had to get out of there now! She took one fatal step and the floors creeked, Pennywise became aware and the hunt was on.

The daughter couldn't reach the exit in time, so she had to hide. She hid in the only place a scared little girl could think of when there's a monster trying to get her, only the monster is real. She locked the door and blocked it with a chair, she only had a little time, she needs to hid now! But where?!

Without a second to spare so chose to hide in the closet, she hoped that all her clothes and stuffed toys would keep her well hidden. Pennywise broke down the door, he was giggling. To him this was just a fun game of hide and seek.

"Where are you~" Pennywise sang in a childish voice.

He looked behind the curtains. "Not here~"
He looked underneath the bed. "Not here either~"
He even looked inside the toy box "Where could you be?"

There was nowhere else to look except the closet. Pennywise knew she was in there but he had one last trick up his sleeve.

"Oh dear, it looks likes she's not here. Guess I better leave and look for her somewhere else!" And with that Pennywise marched out the room exaggerating his footsteps as he left until his foot steps could no longer be heard.

The girl was still shaking but she peaked open the closet a little bit to see if he was really gone. She looked left and right he really wasn't there? Relieved the girl closed her eyes and took a deep breath, and that when she saw him staring back at her. "Peek-a-boo, I see you~"
Screams of terror filled the room, blood stained the bedroom floor and walls. The girl's death was much more gruesome then that of her mother.

When it was all over Pennywise sat there alone in the dark, savoring the last blood stains of what he once considered his daughter. The Hunger subsided but at what cost? The closes thing he had to a family and he killed them. Did she really mean it when she said that she loved him?

So much had happened in one day but it was clear what he was now and what he's only capable of doing. Scared and Feed.

The House that was once the home of a loving family is now Pennywise new nest for when he hibernates, and for many generations that same house has been left untouched with only rumors and ghost stories keeping it's reputation alive.


And that Ladies and Gentlemen is my headcanon story about an AU where Pennywise had a family.

Maybe the story is that he was an average man with an average family in the 1800s. Penny worked with the circus, and his role was Pennywise the dancing clown. Perhaps he was infected with an unearthly parasite, or maybe the circus was a cover up for something malicious, and he was transformed into the shape shifting clown we all know today. His first feeding started with children visiting the circus, and then ended with his own family (you can imagine the details of their deaths), and his story just continues from there

I personally read this as Pennywise taking on the guise of a human he ate and basically replacing him with his family none the wiser, only plot twist, he got so into the “role” that he kinda got attached to them too!
