2011 was a year of people-powered resistance, starting with Arab Spring and spreading across the world. How did it work? Srdja Popovic (who led the nonviolent movement that took down Milosevic in Serbia in 2000) lays out the plans, skills and tools each movement needs — from nonviolent tactics to a sense of humor. (Filmed at TEDxKrakow.)

its not problem how to remove dictator, but problem is what to do after that.

Yeah, I see Serbia so happy without "dictator" Miloshevich, huh. Now we get same happiness at the Ukraine with civil war, poverty burst and regions falling apart, thanks.

OTPOR was a movement coordinated by western agency assets of which this guys is the public face to present, talk about it, etc.
Imagine a product in the package that says "Best Before: Until Milosevic is taken down" ... then 2-3 years after, they disappeared...

Dictators don't always = bad guys.
Gadafi is gone and only gangsters remain, people are dying and fleeing Libya and has brought instability to the country.

How to make sure that one guy throwing stone is not a undercover of the dictator or a random angry citizen?

Unfortunately this human being is my fellow citizen and he is a huge shame for Serbian nation. Proven CIA agent worked against its own country and in later years non-violent resistance "fighter" around the world. Poor human being

I think it's amazing the things they did in Serbia in the '90. Found an AoC podcast with Srdja as a guest and he talks more about those times and how this developed into a global movement.

This guy takes too much of a credit for events that would take place even without him, his friends and the money they spent.

The amount of reactionary conspiratorial nonsense in the comments is disgusting, literally look at the reasons the Arab spring started.

A mass murderer, a man of deception and lies, a secret agency run bot who's craft of deceiving the young and naive part of the population to commit to causes not serving them but rather the elite which despise the innocent and steal their future.
