The only problem with having the Imagination Works one is that it doesn't scale well with other figures as it is not a 1/12 scale figure. Other than that, it's a lot better than the SHF but will still collect SHF since I plan on making a Shonen protagonist shelf. Nice video btw!

Imagination Works is definitely superior but considering it's waaaay more expensive, as well as being 1/9 scale, it's purely for fans that want just that one figure of Luffy. The SH Figuarts one is more for 1/12 collectors since it's much cheaper and it's in scale with lots of other figures

I think the Figuarts one is the better overall value if you're a casual collector and just want a decent Luffy on your shelf. Is the other one better? Sure. It's just not worth paying over double the price in my case.

I usually go for scale and poses. So for a bigger figure that all makes sense that I'd be better. If it wasn't better I'd be a lil salty. Lol

Also sh figuarts luffy does have some effect pieces and all its just something you buy separately which can be anoyying but they look good
