I think this song helped me understand the hardships my mom went through

She left everyone she loved, dealt with a abusive childhood, abusive divorce, divorce with my dad, had both alcohol / pill addiction, and smoking addiction, that merged into rehab 3 times in my life

And I'm glad she's in a better place been sober for over 8 years. And I understand now as a an adult. I imagined she must've been ashamed of her state as a mother

But I get it now and I just want to hug her and be grateful she's in my life. I wish I can say that more but I really love my mom

I think me being a extrovert vs her being a introvert gave us a rocky relationship. But I'm glad we can understand each other now ❤❤❤❤ I love mom very much and I'm glad she's better
