Dude holy crap. I have to sing this with my band and it's like... IMPOSSIBLE. Once the singing starts, it doesn't stop. ZERO breaks and deceptively very demanding. I looked up a live version to see if he skipped out on any lines or words... nope. He sings everything. He was seriously beyond human 😭🙌

His voice is seriously next level. I always wondered how hard it was in the studio for him to get those final takes, but seeing how good he sings live makes me feel like it wasn’t very hard at all. He’s definitely singing a good amount of words, at a very specific rhythm, while nailing all pronunciation with very little spaces to rest. I dunno, I’m not any singer by all means, but I doubt many people can sing this song at the level Chester can. From verse to chorus to verse, changing from clean singing to screams...All truly mind blowing. RIP to one of the greatest singers of his generation.

Hybrid Theory dropped when i was an angry and confused 14 year old. If there was ever something to speak directly to me at that time it was the words "In the end, it doesn't even matter".
Metioria dropped when i was turning 16. Nothing captured being 16 for me like "you where just ike me, with someone disappointed in you".
He rendered my pain and my confusion into poetry.
I miss him.
