Jot Touch- The next step in the stylus evolution. Not all lines are created equally, so Jot Touch provides pressure sensitive input to deliver more accurate interpretations of your strokes. Using Bluetooth technology, Touch communicates with Jot Ready apps to give you a deeper experience. Two programmable shortcut buttons makes it easy to undo a mistake or change tools. Even if an app is not Pressure Sensitive, you still have the most accurate stylus around. Jot Touch is what we always dreamed the pen of the future would be.

Summary: Pressure sensitive stylus with Bluetooth. The next step in stylus evolution.

the 1st gen Jot Touch claims 256 but there is a expressive jump/gap in the middle range that renders the stylus useless for natural work.
Hopefully the 2nd gen Jot Touch corrects for this.

Will this work on a computer with bluetooth 4.0 with a capacitive monitor? Also will the palm rejection and pressure sensitive work if the device is connected?

Just a question, is that circular thing on the edge of the pen necessary?. Couldn't it be replace by a transparent screen cover?. And couldn't all these stylus use some sort of transparent screen cover?. instead of having a capacitive pen, couldn't you make a capacitive transparent screen cover that would work with the pen?. This way you could use thinner pen and a thinner point.

dude you should get a samsung slate 7, or a toshiba, or motion computing with wacom tecnology if you wanna do art on the go, how can you draw with that thing on the pen?
seriosly?

One more thing, The tablet´s screen isn't made for drawing because its like drawing on a glass and a transparent screen cover you could mimic a piece of papers texture. So if you could make such a system work, it would be awesome.

Ya know what I really, really want? A tablet PC that can run Photoshop, Zbrush, and Blender (and run them well). Apple iShite products are all the same to me.... gimmicky. I tried the iPad but I just couldn't get any serious work done on it. So I'm going to hold out for a decent tablet PC or laptop that can run all these programs well without breaking my bank account and burning a hole in my lap.

the series 7 slate is seriously overpriced, and has a screen lifting issue where dust gathers under. So what is recommended for artist with lower budgets or who already own a ipad? and he is obviously drawing very well with the pen/ipad. Its not about the tool a passable artist cant move out of their comfort zone a great artist can utilize any tool in order to create.

Apple sucks. Making designers do these sort of frustrating things.
