Donors!😆 Hospitals charge $300 to $400 a pop for the blood you give them for free!

Why are they not offering increases in monetary compression because blood banks make a lot of money selling the byproducts from donated blood?

Pay $1000 a pint to the donor and you will never see a shortage again !

If they're so worried about a blood shortage maybe they should remove discriminatory donation requirements. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Maybe some of the millions of Federal employees could take some time off from their BUSY schedules and donate some blood.

I went to see where I could give blood. It will cost me about $150 in Uber rides to give blood on top of a 4 hour commitment for travel and waiting. That's the problem. They rely too heavily on the ability to go to random places and capitalize on random people. Giving blood should be a regular and common part of American life, but check your local area.... is there any "bricks and mortar" location that doesn't turn donating blood into a day off of work? Its like food services.... you'd think after 100 years this country would get smart and find a way to guarantee a meal, water, and emergency blood for its citizens. More important to have sky scrapers and cell phones I guess.

The U.S. is currently in the middle of a shortage of free hospitals and doctors. Americans across the country are being forced to postpone medical treatment and surgeries as they scramble to find hospitals and doctors who will donate free medical treatment.

Well if it's so important then pay us well and avoid making us stand in long lines.... What I get is a 10$ gift card or a sweatshirt which is too less for a life saving drop

I would donate but I have a phobia of needles. The last time I donated blood, it didn't go so well😣 Trust me I tried but I had to be sent home when I was supposed to be in class.

Autologous Blood Donation is VERY possible if it’s a scheduled surgery.

I have decided to donate my blood just as soon as Texas becomes an independent country.
