VAN NUYS, Los Angeles—The private jet of international sensation Karol G underwent an emergency landing on Thursday night following the pilot's report of smoke in the cockpit. AIR7 HD captured the scene as the Grammy-winning Colombian reggaeton artist disembarked from the aircraft, embracing friends and associates on the tarmac.

Departing from Burbank airport with 16 passengers on board and heading east, the aircraft experienced a midair problem upon reaching the Cajon Pass, prompting a swift return. Met by emergency crews, the plane executed a smooth landing at Van Nuys Airport around 9 p.m., with no apparent injuries. Adorned with the singer's signature barbed-wire heart logo, the plane remained intact.

While the reason for Karol G's presence in Los Angeles remains unclear, she is currently engaged in her "Mañana Será Bonito" tour across Latin America, with Guatemala slated as the next tour stop on Friday. It is yet to be determined whether the airplane emergency will impact her tour schedule.
