See, Rachel is a famous celebrity, and she's taking a cultural dish, using it for her own gain w/viewership, popularity, and income, and then simultaneously making it her own in a way that does injustice not only to the dish, but the culture it comes from. Now, ppl gonna be walking around thinking this is what Mexican food is---when in reality, it be looking like something some demon summoned from a hellhound's dog dish. I’m a Mexican mom from El Paso, Texas and I gotta say that RR’s cooking Mexican food would be like me making cannolis with corn tortillas or lasagna with flour tortillas, sliced tomatoes, sliced cheese, jalapeños, and bell peppers. Obviously neither dish is Italian but instead Italian ingredients thrown together with other ingredients to make a garbage bowel; That’s what RR does to Mexican food and it’s insulting and offensive.
